Henricks Custom Suits is a locally owned custom menswear store located in Stoneridge Shopping Center. We specialize in made-to-measure suits, tuxedos, sport coats, shirts, and wedding attire.
We provide each client with personal styling, professional measurements, and guidance throughout the entire custom clothing process. We are looking for an experienced menswear professional who can help us grow while maintaining the high level of service our clients expect.
The Position:
Senior Custom Clothing Sales & Store Manager
We are hiring an experienced sales and custom clothing professional who can work directly with the owner and help manage the day-to-day operation of the store.
The right person must be confident selling higher-end menswear, styling clients, taking accurate measurements, managing customer orders, and helping maintain an organized and professional store.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands menswear, knows how to work with clients, and can take responsibility while following the systems, standards, and direction established by the owner.
Responsibilities

Welcome clients and provide a professional, personal shopping experience

Sell custom suits, tuxedos, sport coats, shirts, shoes, and accessories

Help clients select fabrics, colors, linings, buttons, lapels, and other design details

Take accurate body measurements for made-to-measure garments

Conduct fittings and identify basic alteration needs

Prepare and review customer orders before they are submitted

Follow up with leads, appointments, and existing customers

Contact clients when garments arrive and schedule final fittings

Help manage wedding parties and group orders

Maintain accurate customer records, measurements, and order notes

Assist with opening and closing the store

Help manage daily store operations when the owner is unavailable

Keep the showroom, fitting area, samples, and merchandise organized

Support and help train less-experienced sales staff

Follow the owner’s sales process, pricing, service standards, and business direction
Required Experience
-
At least three years of experience in men’s tailored clothing, custom clothing, luxury retail, formalwear, or a related field

Strong sales ability and a proven record of closing customers

Experience taking suit and trouser measurements

Knowledge of suit fit, fabrics, construction, styling, and alterations

Experience conducting fittings and working with tailors

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Professional appearance and a genuine interest in men’s style

Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently

Able to follow established procedures and the direction of the owner

Experience with made-to-measure clothing, wedding suits, tuxedos, or store management is strongly preferred.
